Game Coverage
Welcome to the main part of my site, The Game Coverage page! I'm basically just planning on covering some of the earlier game consoles. A lot of you should recall the fond memories of playing these systems of the past and if you don't what the hell is wrong with you? I sure do, and still play all of these systems to this day. I have a PS2 and I play it a bit, but I'm just too attached to some of the older systems I guess. I did think the original Playstation was pretty cool, so I'm not exactly sure why the PS2 has often times such little appeal to me.
I have played these games I'm covering on a emulator. So I guess this begs the question, are roms legal? Let's think for a second about this. Are any nintendo games still in production? I don't believe so. Is buying a nintendo game second hand from a hobby store or eBay going to help nintendo? Unless there is some secret I don't know about, I believe not. So are they illegal? Not really since they are dead systems. It's just that I'd personally rather play these games with the original controller on my tv while sitting on my couch. I'd also rather have the actual cartridges than just some file on my computer obviously. So yes I am a collector and not just some rom downloading loser only. I think they are another way to preserve the classics and I think it's great that people would spend time playing them instead of the evil PS2 heh anyways enough rambling just click on the game's picture to go to that particular game. That seems simple enough to me too. The amount of coverage varies from game to game and I may add additional coverage at times. Some other links lurk around the game pages and I guess nobody really knows what else may happen here, not even me!
MAY '09 Update OMG OMG OMG This is the main feature of my website. Considering that this site only was active for a handful of months, I didn't do a terrible job with putting out some thorough Game Coverages. I think of these still as a precursor to the youtube Let's Play. Hell now we have the youtube Retsupurae. But only the original guys matter to me. I'm heavily considering at least finishing the Dragon Warrior coverage because I really think I had a good start there. I love the first Dragon Warrior too so I think I could finish it up. I have no clue if I'd start in in earnest or how long it would take, but that is the most likely thing to be updated. Tecmo Super Bowl is mostly just a introduction, I quit on it to do some other games instead.
